Description: | Art History is the study of visual arts to explore content imparted by their makers for different purposes in cultural, temporal and spatial contexts.
The Art History program offers three options for degrees at McMaster: a BA in Art History (3 years), a BA Honours in Art History (4 years) and a BA Combined Honours Art History and Another Subject (4 years). Art History courses are cross-listed with Classics, Communication Studies, History, Multimedia, Philosophy, and Studio Art and also offer important contact with practicing artists enrolled in the Honours Art program. |
